-
Group Qi Gong sessions enhance team spirit and create a calm, supportive environment. By including partner exercises, we connect through moving together, getting to know each other in a different frame than only in the work place.
Content of the Class.
This class offers Tai Chi and Qi Gong, rooted in the Wudang Kung Fu tradition (Xuan Gong Fu). We will combine gentle practices focused on breathing and a meditative state of mind with more dynamic movements and challenging exercises, including low stances and elastic stretching, to develop strength and flexibility.
Throughout our practice, we will work on releasing physical habits, achieving proper spinal alignment, softening our bodies, calming our minds, and increasing our range of motion and physical capabilities. By drawing on the ancient wisdom of Chinese martial arts, adapted for our modern lifestyles, participants can find greater balance and well-being in their daily lives while enhancing their physical health and uplifting their spirits.
The Tai Chi and Qi Gong practices taught in this class can include:
Hui Chun Qi Gong (Back to Spring)
Five Animals Qi Gong
36 Tai Chi Form
Tui Shou (Push Hands)

Customizable Programs
-
Through meditative and mindful movement, standing, and breathing exercises, participants learn to relax both the body and the mind. When we engage our minds all day, it’s essential to take moments to let go of thoughts, creating space for mental clarity and renewed focus afterward.
It is possible to put the focus in the class more on mindfulness and meditation.
-
By focusing on proper alignment, joint mobility, and body stabilization, Tai Chi practice enhances our physical capabilities and overall health. Depending on the class focus, we will also emphasize building leg strength, improving hip and ankle mobility, and facilitating spinal and shoulder movement to reduce tension throughout the body.
-
Group practice not only enhances team spirit but also fosters deeper connections among colleagues. To promote team building, I incorporate playful partner exercises, such as push hands, which encourage participants to challenge one another while developing a sense of mutual awareness. We will practice key principles from Qi Gong and Tai Chi in these partner activities, enhancing both individual skills and team dynamics.
