The price depends on number of participants and length of the workshop.

The Format.

We offer 1-2 hour workshops. Each workshop begins with body awareness exercises to become more confident in your own abilities, to connect body and mind and to safely start your training.

After this, we will teach a fundamentals class to introduce elements from different martial arts (Self-Defense, Boxing, Kung Fu, BJJ). At the end of each class, we will close with meditation and mindset techniques based on traditional Chinese martial arts.

You will see how martial arts can support your mind-body connection and build confidence. This way the course will support you no matter what your level of physical fitness is and regardless of what your ambitions in martial arts are.

Why is this important?

We believe that starting with a group of beginners, paying attention to mindset skills and general body awareness can support people in their practice and in their daily life. We would like to see what happens when we come together to train, learn together and inspire each other without constraints and in a safe space.

For who is this workshop series?

This workshop series is for women and FLINTA* people of all ages and all levels of movement experience. We can also individualize the workshop for specific target groups.

In conclusion, for some this might be answering the curiosity of what fighting and martials arts could bring you and your personal development. For some it might be a nice activity to train with a group of diverse and yet like minded people. For some it might be the perfect introduction to different martial arts so that you can make a choice in what you want to continue. Either way, we would love to see you :)

About Us

These workshops will be taught by Clara Lohmann and Tara van den Berg, two martial artists and movement teachers based in Berlin. They are both fully immersed in training martial arts and have extensive experience in teaching. Personally they also have experienced the power of martial arts training for dealing with stress, building resilience and connecting body and mind. They have spent most of our training life in male-dominated fields - and are now very interested in enabling FLINTA* to get to know the empowering aspects of martial arts.
